　　(1)不定式作状语

　　①不定式作结果状语常用在下列句式中：so...as to;such...as to;enough...to; too... to...;

　　only to(常表示意外或事与愿违的结果)。

　　②不定式可作目的状语。例如：

　　Bob took down my telephone number so as/ in order not to forget it. 鲍勃记下了我的电话号码

　　以免忘了。

　　③不定式在某些形容词后表喜怒哀乐等原因。例如：

　　I am so sorry to hear about your failure in business。听说你事业失败我很遗憾。

　　(2)分词可以用作状语。例如：

　　Being a League member, he is always helping others. 作为一个共青团员，他总是帮助别人。

　　Seen from the hill, the city is beautiful. 从山上看，城市很漂亮。
